Seven Things You Should Know When In An Accident

At the scene

1. Call the police (even if the other driver pleads with you not to)
2. Take a photo of the other driver’s license plate (Use your cell phone)
3. Take photos of the other driver’s property damage
4. Take LOTS of photos of the accident scene
5. Exchange insurance information with other driver(s)
6. Obtain the name, address, phone number and email address of any witness yourself
7. Have yourself checked out by medical personnel regardless how you think you feel
